Justice Les Gavera-Nanu granted leave for a review of the dismissal order by Inter-Government Relations Minister Leo Dion, which was served to Endo on June 26.
Endo then engaged Port Moresby-based Kawat Lawyers who successfully sought the National Court’s orders to review his dismissal.
The judge granted an interim order that there be no by-election for Endo’s seat before the matter returns to court on August 21.
The orders were to have been served by Endo’s lawyers on the State through the Department of Inter-Government Relations.
A relieved Endo said he felt justice was done because his dismissal over allegations of misappropriation and sexual harassment had been made without his response to the charges.
He said the normal administrative requirement was for him to respond to the charges against him which he had done within the required 14 days. Endo was served the dismissal notice after the instruments were signed on June 27.
